We didn’t know what to expect in terms of housing, whether it be on the floor, dormitory style, etc...and we were so sweetly surprised!  We stayed at a house that was very recently renovated by our friends Bill & Susan, and we were the first visitors since the remodel.  Approximately one half of the funds we raised for the trip were used to renovate this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house which has now been converted to a orphanage.  

 

In case you are curious, Johannesburg has the 2nd best water in the world, and we were able to prepare american style food throughout our stay.  Compared to where we have traveled for missions and vacation in the past, Johannesburg was a treat!
